Exfoliate and shave 24 hours before you plan to tan.

Pay special attention to your elbows, knees, ankles and feet as these areas usually more dry.

We recommend performing a
patch test of any new product on a small part of your skin to test for any allergies. Do not continue use of the product if there is any skin irritation.

When applying self-tan, use mitts or latex gloves (we prefer mitts as latex gloves can be uncomfortable on skin) so that the colour does not stay on your hands.

Start from your face and work downwards, slowly in stages – careful not to miss any spots.

We recommend applying self-tan at night before bed so that there is sufficient time for the tan to develop. Sleep with old clothes and old sheets in case of colour transfer.


Exfoliate gently 3 days after tanning so that your tan can fade evenly.

This will also prepare your skin for your next tan.
